Aromatic Scent: an exotic floral with a heavy, tropical sweet, floral aroma; fresh, minty, very sweet and uplifting.
Colour: Pale to golden yellow clear liquid.
Components: b-caryophyllene, cadinene, farnesene, germacrene, humulene, alcohols as farnesol, geraniol, linalool benzyl alcohol, esters as methyl benzoate, benzyl acetate, benzyl benzoate, geranyl acetate, phenols, phenol ethers as methyl eugenol, eugenol, safrole, p-cresyl methyl ether, monoterpenes as pinenes, aldehydes, ketones.
Blends well with: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Cinnamon Bark, Citronella Java, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Davana, Eucalyptus, Frangipani, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit Pink, Jasmine grand, Jasmine sambac, Kaffir Lime, Lavender, Lemongrass, Lemon, Lime, Lotus Pink, Lotus White, Orange Sweet, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Rose Otto, Rose Moroc, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Siam Wood (Pemou), Tangerine, Tuberose, Vetiver.
Aromatherapy use: has an aroma-therapeutic quality to lift depression, helps with insomnia; has relaxation and calming effect; helps to deal with fatigue, frigidity, infection, insect bites, intestinal problems, anger management; anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antiseptic, antidepressant, tonic and sedative. Is a good choice for soothing fear and anxiety making it an excellent choice for aiding situations of stress. Ylang ylang has a history of use as a natural remedy for high blood pressure when related to stress.
Ylang ylang can also be effective at bringing relief during PMT.
Ylang ylang is a powerful aphrodisiac.
It is often used in hair & scalp care products as Ylang-Ylang is excellent oil for maintaining hair loss and any other problems with hair.
The Ylang Ylang oil is calming to the skin as well as balancing sebum so can be used for oily or dry skin in a variety skin conditions as irritated, itchy skin, acne and blemishes. It stimulates a new cell growth, smoothes wrinkles, slows down skin ageing, releases facial muscle and tension.
General use: Oil diffusers or diffusers, massage oil, natural perfume, bath oil, bath salt, bath and shower gels, spa treatment oils and creams, soap making, candle making
Contraindications: Non-toxic, non-irritant, a few cases of sensitization reported.
Important: Newer use essential oil directly on the skin. It has to be diluted with a carrier (f.ex. natural oil or cream) before application. It will be essential clearly understand the dosage and safe procedure of application of any kind of natural oils, including essential oil.
