Yarrow Essential Oils is commonly used for:
  • is helpful during colds: makes breathing easier during high fever, relieves headache, strengthens an immune system, helps to reduce swelling of the mucous for colds, eases coughing contributes to faster recovery. 
  • improves circulation, is introduced into the means for prevention of varicose veins, haemorrhoids, rosacea.
  • muscle aches and joint pain, spasms, cramps, helps with sprains and strains. It is used in arthritis, rheumatism, neuralgia
  • normalizes the menstrual cycle, stimulates menstruation, helps with heavy and excessively lean monthly, eliminates cramps and soreness, helps in menopause
  • a powerful anti-inflammatory and healing agent. Helpful with eczema and psoriasis, rashes, wounds, dermatitis, scars, burns. In these cases, it is the combination of yarrow with immortelle and Rockrose will be more effective.
  • it may contribute to a better feeling of people suffering from hypertension.
Yarrow Oil in cosmetology:
  •  for dry skin (perhaps, in combination with geranium and immortelle would amplify its strength)
  • is valued for balancing oily skin and for its astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. Yarrow is said to aid conditions of acne (perhaps a combination of basil)
  • cleanses the skin from inflammation and soothes irritation
  • tones the skin and is therefore used in anti-aging cosmetics
  • stimulates hair growth, soothe the scalp, assists with seborrheic dermatitis commonly known as dandruff
  • improves the circulation of fluids, reduces edema, and consequently introduced into the means of cellulite.
The essential oil of yarrow is a perfect repellent.
Of additional interest, some sources say Yarrow blue can combat harsh effects of radiation therapy.
Emotional:  anger - management, irritability, balance, acts as an antidepressant, soothes and helps sleep. It contributes to more rapid emotional and physical recovery and rehabilitation after diseases. Yarrow inspires and helps to generate new ideas.
Contraindications:  Maybe slightly neurotoxic in some cases. Patch a test before use. Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding;  epilepsy or any other serious health condition.  Avoid application on babies and young children before 2 years old.
Important:  Newer use essential oil directly on the skin. It has to be diluted with a carrier (f.ex. natural oil or cream) before application. It will be essential clearly understand the dosage and safe procedure of application of any kind of natural oils, including essential oil.
