Method of extraction: is cold pressed from the dried kernels of the apricot fruit. Use: in various cosmetics and personal care products such as creams, shampoo and conditioner. Great for massage oil. Chemical constituents: oleic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid and arachidonic acid in the order of its major presence. It also contains amygdalin or laetrile, the crystalline compound; vitamins A, C, E, F (Linoleic Acid), K, B17, phosphorous, niacin, magnesium, potassium, manganese and copper, mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids; tocopherols; phospholipids; pantothenic acid. Action: Antioxidant, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, moisturising, nourishing, softening, revitalising, regenerating and toning effect of the whole body. Expunging toxins and free radicals from skin cells (in particular on the scalp), stimulates hair follicle and cell growth. Promotes the synthesis of collagen and elastin fibres.
